• Be an advocate of knowledge management and promoting the benefits of effective knowledge management to wider project teams at all levels of the organisation including client and supply chain. • Develop the Knowledge Management strategy to build a programme wide knowledge network linking information to people to grow business expertise and project legacy. • Work with team leaders to create a learning culture to drive better ways of working • Design and oversee the Knowledge Management process (capture, creation, quality check, organising, tagging, storage, communication). • Build and oversee the Knowledge Hub, including associated processes, training and promotion of Hub to encourage its use and benefits. • Champion the use of existing knowledge, data and Knowledge Communities early in decision making and methodology for construction and business delivery. • Deploy initiatives to drive opportunities for sharing and learning. • Be a connector of information to people and subject matter experts. • Facilitate knowledge sharing forums, lessons learnt sessions, knowledge related training or events. • Set up and support Knowledge Communities to encourage staff to build personal networks and improve cross-contract communication. • Identify experts and raising their profile as Knowledge Champions. • Support the development and dissemination of knowledge transfer material (e.g. best practices, lessons learnt summaries, reports, case studies and feeding into project communications, newsletters). • Analyse and advise others on the most suitable approaches to handling information in order to realise different ways of presenting it. • Develop digital solutions to improve knowledge management on project with the strategic objective of helping change industry standards as part of HS2 legacy.

Eligibility Criteria

Preferred Skills & Experience: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification • Have extensive experience and/or qualifications in knowledge management or related disciplines • Excellent communication skills and competent in facilitation/presentation • Experience of working within construction industry • Understanding of knowledge management approaches and experience deploying these over multiple sites • Experience managing information providers, influencing and managing stakeholders and interfacing with other knowledge communities and forums • Skilled in writing, proof-reading and with the ability to cater knowledge content for the target audience and channel • Strong analytical skills in examining information, trends and data to make connections and help draw conclusions to influence decision making • Ability to maintain constructive work relationships with people across all functions and at all levels within the organisation • Comfortable to set and complete own goals and initiatives
