Description


Attend to visitors at reception and provide administrative support to the School office and Senior staff. Answer the phone and deal with day to day queries. Provide efficient day to day finance support including carrying out processing of orders and checking deliveries. To update the school website under guidance from SLT. • Receive visitors to the school reception including providing a professional telephone service • Place orders for goods and advise on best value of goods and services • Organise school trips and booking coaches • Direct telephone calls to staff and dealing with general inquiries • Support the Office manager with day to day finance enquiries • Support with administrative duties in the school office. • To update/add to the school website under guidance from SLT, uploading photos, and relevant curriculum information as needed.


Eligibility Criteria


- Be a 16+ years old Camden resident/Camden care leaver/former Camden Primary or Secondary School student - Have been resident in the UK / EU for the last 3 years - Have relevant ID proving right to work in the UK, that you MUST provide at the pre-screening session - Not have an Level 2 apprenticeship in Business Admin - If you are shortlisted for the pre-screen interview you will need to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment to ensure you meet the minimum requirements to be eligible for the apprenticeship. The only exceptions to this are if you have already passed these with us or have/will produce certificates to show you have already met these minimum requirements. • A strong commitment towards successfully completing the NVQ in Business Administration. • Ability to use Microsoft Office IT systems and software packages. • Ability to follow instructions and to provide a customer focussed support service. • Ability to work flexibly, meeting deadlines whilst understanding the needs, timescales and deadlines of others. • A positive attitude towards teamwork and being able to work well with others. • Ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with customers to resolve enquiries, both orally and in writing. • Ability to maintain a high standard of reliability and time keeping.
